Giving Your B.E.S.T to Safety - The B.E.S.T. Building Effective Safety Teams™ Program
purpose is to bring about a proactive cultural change in the way safety is viewed within
organizations.
The program was designed to interact in all aspects of the organization to bring about inclusive
employee engagement focused on the safety & risk management core values within the
organization. To achieve these goals, we concentrate on proactive strategies to fuel the basics
of ensuring a safe working environment. Embracing OSHA’s “Right to Understand” as the
cornerstone component, we developed this throughout the policies, procedures, instructional
design of our training and development programs. Working with our insurance business
partners, we measure, and review program needs for continuous improvement.
Results
Building Effective Saftey Teams
Teams review near misses & incident investigations focusing on mitigation without fear of
reprisal.Teams consistently participate in and review audits, JSAs (Job Safety Analysis), and
company performance.- Teams are accountable for quality work and exceptional customer service.
Teams participate continuously throughout the year in the quality and safety program
education curriculum.- Teams identify hazards, while proactively working to create a proactive safety culture.
